Under EU consumer protection law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.
During checkout, you are asked to check a consent box confirming that you request immediate access to the service and that you acknowledge the waiver of the 14-day withdrawal right once you begin using the service. This is in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
Why we ask for this: Each article generation consumes real AI processing credits (API calls, compute time) that cannot be reversed. Without this safeguard, bad actors could generate content, download it, then request a full refund — causing direct financial losses for us. The waiver protects serp.systems while still allowing discretionary refunds when service quality falls short (see Section 5).
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle you have already been charged for.
Credit pack purchases are one-time purchases. Because each credit triggers real-time API costs the moment it is used, refunds for consumed credits are not possible. Unused credits from a pack do not expire and remain in your account.
We stand behind the quality of our service. If you believe the output quality did not meet reasonable expectations, or you experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the service, you may request a refund at our discretion.
We may approve refund requests in cases including, but not limited to:
To request a review, email [email protected] within 14 days of the charge, including your account email, the charge date, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Chargebacks filed without prior contact, or found to be fraudulent, may result in account suspension or termination.
This policy is governed by applicable international law. EU residents are additionally protected by the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. US residents are subject to applicable federal and state law. For billing-related disputes, the payment processor's (Stripe) terms also apply.
